LIVE, EXERCISE AND BE HAPPY

Anyone can accomplish what they set their minds to. It takes a lot of hard work and determination. Hopefully reading about my journey and using the sites I am providing will make your journey easier. Don't quit! Be patient and always remember that tomorrow is another day. I hope that this blog will be a place where people can share tips, recipes, and motivational stories along with mine.

Food for Thought

As you reach for that donut, you have to ask yourself, are the calories really worth it? We all love our treats, and we are all entitled to our treats, but why eat something that we don't even really like just because it's in front of us?

Devouring something that we don't really enjoy is just not worth it and will only make us feel guilty. I don't feel guilty when I eat french fries because they are a treat that I love and I don't have them everyday. It's those times that I eat something pretty average, without thinking, that I feel bad about my decision.

So next time you're about to reach for that stale danish, ask yourself if it's really worth

A bit about me...

Tammy McBride
Carthage, NY, United States
I have been dieting on and off for 16 years. I must have lost 1000 pounds yo-yo dieting. On January 5th, 2010 I couldn't believe what I was looking at when I stood in front of the mirror. A very unhappy 5'2" woman weighing 220 pounds. I was a "tight" size 18 and I vowed I would not get bigger. From that day on I have dropped 10 sizes and almost 75 pounds. I don't know what my goal is but I will let you know when I reach it. I don't have many "before" or "after" pictures but when I reach "this" goal I will post some more.
